PMD Beauty Review

* This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. As always, all opinions are my own.

Prior to me using the PMD Beauty I was not to familiar about microdermabrasion. I had heard about it but that was pretty much it. The PMD Beauty is an at-home skin care device that provides the same results as most professional treatments do. And you can have it all at done in the comfort of your own home.

Personal Microderm uses exclusive Patented Spinning Discs with aluminum oxide crystals to exfoliate away the dead, dull cells on the surface of the skin. By removing this dead skin cell barrier, new cell growth is stimulated, revealing soft, brilliant and rejuvenated skin.

The Suction increases circulation and triggers the skin’s natural healing process which boosts collagen and elastin leaving skin firm, fresh and radiant.

You can achieve long term results right in your with the Personal Microderm — overtime you’ll notice diminished look of fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, blemishes, and dark spots.

I have the Classic PMD,it utilizes one speed, classic caps. You also rececieve 4 different replacement discs

♥ White Disc (Training Disc) -For people with ultra sensitive skin or for those first learning to use the PMD. It is the one I suggest you start off with.

♥ Grey Disc (Very Sensitive) – For people with very delicate sensitive skin that are ready for a level of exfoliation above the training disc. (I stayed with the grey disc)

♥ Blue Disc (Sensitive) – For people with sensitive skin that have used the PMD for several treatments and are ready for a level of exfoliation above the grey disc.

♥ Green Disc (Moderate) – For people with normal or non -sensitive skin that have used the PMD for several treatments and are ready for a level of exfoliation above the sensitive disc.

My Results

I don’t suffer from acne, or dark spots. I tend to suffer from dry skin, especially around my nose area. My skin can also look dull at times.

I used the white disc to get my footing around to using my PMD. I waited a few days to see how my skin would re-act or whatever. After a few days I moved to the grey disc. Unfortunately, when I tried the grey disc. My skin did have a bit of a reaction. So I did give my skin a bit of a break as I did not want to over irritate my skin. I waited a few days again before I started back using my PMD Beauty. Everything worked out my skin seemed to have gotten over the little bump. I tend to use it as soon as I start seeing dry patches on my skin as well as if my skin seems a little dull. Since I found that it’s great to exfoliate away the dead as well as leaving the skin looking fresh.

With my before you can see my skin looks a little dull. With my after, my skin looks like it has more life after using my PMD for about a month or so.

I have not yet moved away from the grey disc, just because I feel it’s what works for me currently. In the future I do plan on trying the other discs. I am just careful with my skin right now.

Have you tried the PMD? what are your thoughts on it?
