I have wanted to try Kate Somerville Goat Milk collection for a while now I just never fully committed myself to actually purchasing products from the line. Until a recent trip to Sephora this Kate Somerville Goat Milk Collection was one of the point perks. I usually just save my points in case there is ever something I really wanted to try and boom the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Collection has been something I really have been wanting to try. Not going to lie the whole “Goat Milk” is what had me intrigued from the beginning.
The collection did contain Kate Somervilles Exfolikate Gentle Exfoliator. First step to glowy skin, right 🙂 This is one of the most gentle exfoliates, I have ever tried. The little grains are so small and gentle on your skin . I apply it to my face when I’m in the shower, it’s recommended that you exfoliate for 2 minutes only and rinse. I have not noticed any dramatic change in my skin while using this product. Mind you this is not for forever day use it’s recommended that you use it once or twice weekly.
Kate Somerville’s Goat Milk Collection all contain lactose from goat’s milk which is said to soothes and moisturize dry, damaged skin.
This little puppy is a favourite of mine for sure. It does not strip my skin off the oils, I already don’t have. The Moisturzing Cleanser is gentle cleanser, removes my makeup without causing irritation and hydrates for the look and feel of smooth, soft skin. I really do not like when cleansers leave my skin feeling tight and dry. This one definitely does not strip my skin of essential moisture
I will mention do not expect to see a foaming cleanser as you are cleaning your face. This cleanser somewhat turns to “milk” when it gets in contact with water. I use this morning and night along with another cleanser that I use. Retails for $36.00
I’m a moisturizing cream collector. I love trying different moisturizers on my skin something about it brings me so much joy. Yes, welcome to my crazy world. LOL
I have been using the Moisturizing Cream daily since I introduced it into my skin-care routine. I enjoy switching up some of my skin-care products just so that my skin does not become to use to it. This moisturizer is very light weight, you are not going to have that thick and heavy feeling on your skin. This is a perfect day time moisturizer especially if you are a makeup wearer. It workes perfect under my makeup, it’s said that you can use this moisturizer AM and PM. It contains biologically-active milk polypeptides which nurtures sensitive and extremely dry skin and helps to restore moisture balance in the skin. Jojoba and Avocado which hydrate, comfort, and condition for a smoother appearance as well as aloe and grape seed oil. Retails for $50-65
The De-Puffing Eye Balm definitely had me intrigued when I first saw it in this little collection. I have never tired anything like it. I have only ever tried The Estee Edit’s Late Night Eraser and First Aid Beauty’s Eye Duty Triple Remedy. Those tubes that have the metal applicator to help with de-puffing the eyes. brighten and smooth the under eye. This is actually a balm that sort of reminds me of a glue stick or a lip balm, since you have to twist it up and apply it to your under eyes. This sheer formula glides on without tugging on your under skin area, where you will start experiencing a unique cooling feeling under your eyes. That will help with reducing puffiness and revitalize tired eyes. Definitely, does feel a little weird when you first experience that cooling feeling. Retails for $38.00
I always find recommending skin-care such a difficult thing, because we all have different skin types. Plus, I am no dermatologist. I find that skin-care is kind of that trial and error subject. What might be amazing for your skin can just be so bad for mine. So I just enjoy sharing what I like and have tried. If your local beauty stores allow you to get samples I recommend that before diving into purchasing skin-care. Since, we all know skin-care is not always the cheapest thing on the market.
