I remember a little while back when I saw that Maybelline, were releasing the Maybelline Colour Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Colours. I was beyond excited. If you are a regular here, I live for a matte lipstick:)
I even tweeted Target and Maybelline on when these would be hitting my local area. Since I saw other beauty bloggers had them already.
So, when I finally saw the display at my local Target. The display was basically empty, the only shades that were available were ‘Nude Embrace’ Devine Wine and Faint For Fuchsia. I ended picking Faint for Fuchsia. I was disappointed I am not going to lie.
So last week went we went grocery shopping at HEB, i decided to out the beauty aisle and boom they had the whole matte collection. And most important they had the colours I have been lusting after 🙂 ‘Touch of Spice’ and ‘Lust for Blush’
♥ There are 10 shades in the Creamy Matte collection
‘Nude Embrace’,’Darinly Nude’, ‘Touch of Spice’, ‘Lust for Blush’, ‘Ravishing Rose’, ‘Faint for Fuchsia,’Mesmerzing Magenta’,Craving Coral’,Siren in Scarlet and Devine Wine. Which is the darkest shade in the collection.
♥ Creamy Matte and not a drying matte.
♥ Part of the permanent colour sensational line. So that means if you have not gotten your hands on them yet, don’t fret they will be all over soon.
♥ They range from $5-$8 depending on where you pick them up.
If you are looking for a true matte, like the Lime Crime Velventines and Kat Von D Everlasting Lipsticks, these are not for you. They are a wonderful everyday creamy matte lipstick that does not have that drying affect on your lips that true matte lipsticks tend to have.
They have a slight matte look to them, they have that moisture to them as well.
The packing does say matte (where the name of the shade is)
I think they are a great lipstick for the drugstore. Since the e drugstore is a place where you hardly ever find matte lipsticks.
♥ They have a good staying power.
♥ They do transfer a little
I say give these a go and try them out. I bet you will really enjoy them.
Which one’s have you picked up?
