Who doesn’t love a good watch…who doesn’t love a unique watch? I know I do…I am very finicky when it comes to the type of watches I wear. When JORD wood watches reached out to me to send me this beautiful watch I super stoked. I have seen them across my Instagram a few times and I have also been intrigued by their wooden watches. You have alot of options in terms of the type of wood, glass and movement of the watch.
I was able to choose the watch that I have had my eye on ever since I saw JORD wood watches on my Instagram…and it was the Frankie 35 Series – Dark Sandalwood & Slate it is a beautiful and minimalistic watch.
The Sandalwood is sourced from various places but the dark Sandalwood in my watch is sourced from East Africa (Mozambique) and that holds an extra special place in my heart because I am South African and Mozambique borders South Africa 🙂
I love the features of this watch
- sapphire crystal glass
- deployment buckle with push buttons (I totally loved this feature, it is like no buckle I have ever seen)
- Swiss Ronda Normtech Caliber 763 display: hours – minutes – seconds
- It is extremely light-weight
I love every detail that JORD wood watches come with -It comes in a wooden box with cute little pillow to store your watch. The wooden box also a very neat little draw that slides out. The wind up dial has a tiny “J” engraved on it. You are also able to see the date your beautiful watch was crafted on, on the back of the watch.
JORD also offer size customizing for an addition $10, so that you do not have to take your watch to your local jeweler. You can either use a measuring tape or you can download and print the JORD wrist sizer. That is what I used and my watch came perfectly sized.
