I have been waiting on these Morphe brushes to come in since I ordered them 3 weeks ago. It was about time I got on the Morphe Brush bandwagon and try out some of their makeup brushes. I ordered 3 Morphe Brushes – M505, M139 &M441 so I could get a feel for the brushes.
I must say I felt a little overwhelmed with deciding on what brushes to get since they have millions and millions of brushes on their website 🙂 Most of their brushes sell for about $2.99 -20.00 They also sell brush sets for about $20-60. They offer natural and synthetic brushes in all different styles and colors
I talk a little on who Morphe is on my Morphe 35O -35 COLOR NATURE GLOW EYESHADOW PALETTE blog thoughts.
♥ M505 – Tapered Blender – The tapered sable bristles work just right from inner corner to outer corner. A great brush to blend out colour in the crease. Said to be a great dupe for the Sigma E40 brush. I do not own that brush so I can’t really compare the two brushes. The hair is obtained from the tail of the kolinsky (Mustela sibirica), a species of weasel rather than an actual sable.
♥ M441 – Pro Firm Blending Crease. The bristles are made of goat hair. By far the best brush I own for blending crease colours, it also soften harsh lines. I follow a very sweet makeup artist on Instagram and Snapchat (Carolynrosalia) , so I asked her what brush she would recommend and she said the M441 so I had to try it. It retails for $5.99 on the Morphe website. Currently sold out on the Morphe website.
♥ M139 – Tapered Crease Blender – Bristles gather to a point making this brush perfect for defining the crease. Promotes optimal control and perfect balance and is a dream to use Expertly crafted with sable hair bristles retails for $5.98 on sale now for $2.99
The handles are plastic, that does not go for all brushes, just the ones I own. Some probably would say it is cheap, but I do not have an issue with the plastic handles. The focus would have to be on the bristles, these brushes are great. Lets see how many more brushes I will be adding to my brush collection.
With this order I had for standard shipping which was $3.45. Which I don’t mind paying, but when Morphe hits you with that $8+ shipping within the US, I kind of get turned off by that shipping rate. There is makeup shop here in Houston which sells Morphe products I think I will rather just purchase my brushes ans palettes from there instead of paying for shipping.
I know Morphe products are really in demand now, so I will warn you that your items can take about 3 weeks to be delivered if you are just taking standard shipping. I did see on their website that they are offering “Rush Processing’ Need your order faster? Add Rush processing to your order! They will process your order the same business day your order is received if received before noon PST. Orders received after noon PST or on Saturday/Sunday/holiday will be processed the next business day. The cost for this service is $10 per order in addition to normal shipping costs. Rush processing is not rush shipping. If you need rush processing and rush shipping, please select rush shipping separately based on the available options at check-out.
