Who remembers the original YSL Opium?? I was NEVER a fan of the original Opium. It was to dark, rich, over powering for me, even as a young child. but with the YSL Black Opium Eau De Parfum is totally different
I was a little wary as I assumed the YSL Black Opium Eau De Parfum would be a similar scent – my oh my was I wrong!
♥ The opening notes of adrenaline-rich coffee – “Did someone say coffee?” before orange blossom, ceder wood & Patchouli essense and the sweet sensuality of vanilla recline into the softness of white flowers.
I found that it smells different every time I have worn it. Coffee one and Orange Blossom the next day. Who would love to feel like they are wearing a different fragrance everyday?
This is truly such a sophisticated, sexy scent. That is not to overpowering since I am not a fan of such scents. I would describe this scent as a very “grown up” sexy fragrance.
There are people who have day, night and seasonal scents. I don’t really have a preference when it comes to that, I wear what I like. However with that being said I do think this YSL Black Opium is more a night-time scent. The bottle just screams a sexy night under the starlight to me.
It wore really well on my skin. I smelled it all day, every turn I made I was able to get a whiff of the YSL Black Opium Eau De Parfum
If you are ever near a department store or Sephora. I suggest you go on and get yourself a sample or just a little sniff.
Have you tried this? Did you enjoy it?
