Brown lipsticks you might be thinking, but that is not very Summer-ish. Well I for one do not follow that make up “rule”. I must say that I never thought that I would be that girl who would wear brown/mauve lipsticks. Nude lip gloss was the only thing I wore. Gone are those days. Thought I would share My Top 4 M.A.C Brown Lipsticks
♥ Styled in Sepia (Limited Edition) Sorry ♥ – this is the lipstick that started it all for me. I saw it on someone’s Instagram, knew right then and there that I had to pick it up. It is described as a dirty cement beige. To me it is more muted, medium-dark brown with a hint of grey with a matte finish, it applies smoothly it does not drag on your lips when applying.
♥ Verve described as a muted brownish-plum. I think the fact that it has that hint of plum, it makes it extra special. It might look scary in the tube, but once it have it on your lips It is a total different story. It is a satin so it applies so smoothly. Satin finishes are my second favourite, mattes are my favourite.
♥ Stone – this lipstick was is part of the M.A.C matte collection recently, when I saw it on Instagram. I was like that will be mine 🙂 It is described as a muted grayish taupe brown, More of a muted, medium-dark taupe brown to me. It is a matte, I would say more of a semi matte as applies smoothly it does not drag on your lips when applying.
♥ Whirl – the shade that they say Kylie Jenner made famous. First it was only available as a lip pencil, but M.A.C released in a lipstick in their Matte Collection recently. So everyone who likes the lip pencil can now own the lipstick. Described as a dirty rose shade. It’s a muted, medium-dark rosy brown. It is a matte, I would say more of a semi matte as applies smoothly it does not drag on your lips when applying.
