Who does not love a beauty haul now and again, right? I have not done one in quite some time, so I thought I would share what I have added to my makeup collection.
Make Up Forever Pro Sculpting Duo #2 “Golden” – comes with a hightlighter and a bronzer It is described as a product that instantly transform the contours of your face. This mistake-proof PRO SCULPTING DUO helps you master the art of light and shadow to reveal a naturally, sculpted look. The lightweight gel-powder blends effortlessly without a visible trace of powder to re-shape the face. The hightlighter that comes in this duo is life ok. Some have said that it is up there with Estee Lauder’s Heat Wave and M.A.C Whisper of Guilt level. I am happy I have this one. I have not played around with the bronzer too much , but so far I would say it is OK. It is not a shade I would use to contour my face with, but I use it to warm up my face. I definitely purchased this duo, because of the highlighter….don’t judge me ok 🙂

M.A.C “Nightmoth” Lip Pencil $16 – Described as a blackened plum colour. A great liner to wear on its own or pairing it with which ever lipstick tickles your fancy. It applies on so smoothly and is non drying on the lips. I enjoy pairing Nightmoth with M.A.C Smoked Purple and M.A.C Verve. This is a staple in everyone’s makeup collection.
M.A.C Stone (matte) $16 – M.A.C recently added the Matte Lip Collection consisting of 21 but 12 are completely new shades. I picked up Stone which is, Described as a muted grayish taupe brown, it is a muted, medium dark brown shade. I am all about these kind of shades this Summer. Yup, I said it this Summer. I first thought that Stone would have been a dupe for M.A.C Styled in Sepia but no it is not. But I would say that they are in the same family of muted browns. Even though it is a matte, I would say it has the texture of a satin lipstick from M.A.C. I always compare M.A.C lipsticks to the infamous Ruby Woo, which in my opinion is a true matte. I would say it applies slightly patchy, but definitely want to pick up the Stone lip pencil. That will solve that little issue real quick.
M.A.C Verve (satin) $16 – Described as a muted brownish plum. This is definitely not a shade I would have ever looked at before. It looked like a scary brown in the tube at first, but once I saw the plumy undertones, I was not afraid anymore. I love pairing it with M.A.C Nightmoth lip liner. It applies on opaque and wears well on my lips. Dare I say it might be my favourite lipstick from M.A.C
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick “Vamp” $20 – It is a gorgeous brick-red/brown. burgundy. I really can’t describe it 🙂 It definitely is a unique shade. And I am so happy that I have added this to my collection. It wears amazing on my lips. When I wear it I feel glamorous as well as edgy in a sense. I do line my lips just so I can get a more defined/cleaner look. I want to add Sad Girl and Heathers to my collection 🙂
