I have wanted to try Bioderma Sensibio H2O (Crealine H20 Solution Micellaire). It since has become like a cult beauty product for a lot of people. 1 product sold every 5 seconds worldwide 🙂
I am sure there are some of us that are not exactly sure what Micellaire water. It’s not a cleansing milk., It’s not a toner. It’s certainly not a face wash. Micellaire water is a skin care product that removes makeup and cleanses the skin, without the need for rinsing. Micellaire waters have been widely available in French pharmacies for many years. Bioderma was one of the first companies to start this Micellaire water trend. Since, than so many other companies have come out with their own versions of micellaire water.
Bioderma is a no-rinse micellaire cleanser and makeup remover specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin types. It can even remove water-resistant face and eye makeup. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic.
- So how exactly does it work right, well Micellaire water gets its name from micelles.
- Tiny round balls of cleansing molecules that float in the water.
- When you apply the product to your skin, the cleansing components come into contact with oil and dirt that’s on your face, this allows for the oil and dirt to be cleansed away quickly and effectively. Pretty awesome I think 🙂
My skin has not gotten irritated from using it on my face, it did not leave my skin feeling tight, like some cleansers can make my skin feel. Bioderma removes all my makeup as well as my eye makeup, It does not sting or burn my eyes.
I’m not one to use waterproof makeup, but for the purpose of reporting back to you. I decided to use a waterproof mascara and it removed that as well without any fail. There was not need pull and tug on my eyes.
I use it basically 7 days a week, morning and evening.
There are two 500ML bottles but only one with a pump, so it makes it easier to get the product. I can definitely appreciate that one of the bottles have a pump. All you need is a cotton pad and just pump away. Gently cleanse by removing your makeup. Re-apply/ cleanse until the cotton pad becomes clean if you have to.
If you are able to get your hands on Bioderma, I highly suggest that you give it ago.
Next I need to try some micellair waters from L’Oreal and Simple, just to name a few to see how they stand up against Bioderma
Beautylish who is an exclusive Bioderma partner here in the states. I do wish they could start selling Bioderma in the drugstores or at Ulta or even at Sephora. So it is not just available online. I
While doing my research on the places selling Bioderma, I found that Bioderma was most reasonably priced at Beautylish if you are in the states that is.
You can also find it being sold on Ebay and Amazon, but it is a little more pricey on those sites.
Have you tried Bioderma? What are your thoughts on it?
