I have not done a favourites post since I did My Best of Beauty 2014 and that was in January. So I am back at it for the month of March 🙂
I have really been enjoying the month of March, it was mostly all about lip products for me, especially liquid lipsticks. They definitely took the spot on my blog this month.
ABH Pure Hollywood is such a pretty nude, but can be a little hard to wear for some skin tones. I think it is a great when you add a lip liner or you apply it with another liquid lipsticks to add something or tone down something. It makes for a everyday nude. Check out my overall thoughts on it here
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Aria and Patina are probably my favorite liquid lipsticks right now or that I own thus far. They were good on my lips, not drying at all. Just overall obsessed with. Have you seen my thoughts on them? here
FAB Ultra Repair Cream I think I have finally a good face moisturiser for my face. I have promoted it to holy grail status and for good reason. This stuff is amazing for my dry skin. You can use it for various skin issues, such as: relieve on minor irritation and itching due to eczema and other conditions. I mainly use it to hydrate my dry skin. I apply as generous amount every night after I have my shower. It does not make my skin feel oily or that uncomfortable oily feeling, which I do not like. If I ever run out of this stuff, I will be re-purchasing for sure.
L’Occitane Light Shea Butter Comforting Cream Light Shea Butter Comforting Cream is such a fine and non-greasy cream, that I use mostly on my hands. I received this little sample from Influenster. I would love to invest in some L’Occitane products. This cream smells so lovely,I am forever sniffing on my hands. I especially love using this when I have just used bleach and my hands are extremely dry. This cream is so quick to make my hands feel moisturised again. Adding a full size to my wish list 🙂
ROIEL Cosmetics South African Marula Oil. This is kind of big deal to me since I am South African and I love the fact that Marula Oil is making its way into the US beauty market. To be honest I never knew that the Marula tree/fruit could produce an oil. All I thought was that the tree would bear the fruit that makes Amarula, which is very similar to Baileys Irish Cream. But the fact that you can get a oil out of it and that it is used as part of your skincare Is totally awesome. I have been using the Marula oil for about 9 weeks now. I love using on my skin when it goes through its very dry stages, and you do not need a lot at all. This stuff is rich and light weight. I also enjoy using it on my cuticles every night. Check out www.roielcosmetics.com for more info on this lovely product.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Duo Brush #12 precision application of brow products. This dual sided brush features high-quality synthetic bristles on one end and a spooley brush for grooming and blending on the other. I am so glad I finally purchased it, because it goes great with the ABH Dip Brow Pomade. The bristles do not pick up a lot of the dip brow pomade, as the dip brow can be a little harsh when you apply to much. So like they say less is more 🙂 the spooley is great for blending out the product.
L’OREAL Paris Total Repairs Restoring Shampoo and Conditioner have been my hair jam for this month. I have been washing my hair everyday since I have been going hardcore at the gym lately. I really do not have much to say, on is it really working on my hair. I do think that the conditioner is definitely my favourite conditioner as of late. It really makes it more manageable to for me to get my Wet Brush through my knotting curls sometimes. And might I add this stuff smells so good.
What were some of your favourites of the month? or what were some products you did not like in March?
