I will not have a favourites post go up for the month of September as it was pretty much a no-makeup month for me. I did try a few products, but I will have a bunch in my October post.
Lets go onto the post shall we, before I start rambling 🙂
If you know me,you will know I have mentioned before I love a glow on my cheeks. It is is one of my favourite things when it comes to makeup. Lipstick and a good highlighter
When I first heard Missy Lynn, on YouTube talk about this and that she even had a back up for this. All thanks to Jaclyn Hill for putting that hype out there on Opal. I was like’ that baby has got to be mine’. It really does give you a glow from with in.
Let us just say this is a highlighter you should have in your collection, if you are into the highlighing thing.
It is described as a “golden opal pearl.” It’s a light-medium, golden champagne with a frosted finish. Not a bad frosted finish if the word frosted scared you.
This highlighter is very finally milled, its so smooth and buttery like. (P.S be aware if you drop this, be prepared for it be all over the place, so take care when taking and putting it away)
I use a fan brush to apply this product, or atleast that is what I have found to work better for me. But you can use a stippling brush or a dense, tapered highlighting brush.
It is intensely pigmented, so a little will definitely go a very long way. Trust me you can really get a little carried away when applying this product. But if that is your thing, glow on 🙂 but do be careful when applying to much, as this product can really emphasize your pores. Hence I said try to not over do it.
