Hi Lovelies ♥
Who does not like a good lippy? I am sure we all do.
But with lipstick they come with different finishes? and with that it’s really important that you know what finish works for you and what does not work for you and your lips.
So let me give you the 101 on some lipstick finishes so for the next time you head to the store, you will know whats up in the lipstick ‘finish’ department.
Matte lipsticks are usually a long-wear product and can be a little drying on the lips A matte finish depends on what type of matte you can from different brands can be smooth, but like I mentioned can also be drying. Popular shades in matte lipsticks tend to be of stronger pigment such as reds, pinks, and campy/oxblood colours. One thing one should do is that before applying a matte shade apply a lip balm prior to you applying the matte lipstick. Actually Matte lipsticks are my favourite to apply to my lips

This is second to matte lipsticks regarding the colour pay off .With creamy finish lipsticks, you will normally have a long wear finish but the lips won’t become too dry throughout the day. Creamy textured lipsticks give you a little more shine than a matte formula and are considered one of the richest textures in lipsticks. One thing to remember about a creamy finish lipstick is that they can bleed. So to prevent that from happening, its best to get a lip liner pencil in a similar colour to the lipstick. Line your lips with it and apply your lipstick, and you should be good to go.

Satin anything feels amazing to the touch, and with this particular finish you will find that your lips stay hydrated and maintain a delicate sheen. I unfortunately am not a big fan of satin lipsticks, I do like shine, but i have tried lipsticks with a satin finish and i ended up not liking it at all. But t is one of the most versatile finishes in lipsticks, you can wear Satin finishes are perfect for ladies who want a little color payoff and shine without drawing too much ‘look at me’ to their lips

It is really a liquid version of a lipstick, but they are in lipgloss bottle or whatever you can them. The colours can range from sheer, to opaque, creamy and matte. They have also become some of m favs.

Glosses are often seen as top, in the same sense as when it comes to our nails. Lipglosses can be worn alone it over a lipstick to give it an extra pop. Lipglosses can be very frost, shimmery – sticky at times. Some brands do consider glosses and liquid glosses as the same type of lip idea.
