Hi Lovelies ♥
My blog post is totally fitting for today , since today is officially the first day of Spring….Whoop Whoop 🙂
I am kind of excited about this trend, that I have been seeing on the runway and magazines… mind you I have never worn orange lipstick. Uuum maybe I have when I use to mess around with my Mom’s lipstick when I was younger. But I mean like rocking it in public.
(Fashion Week- DKNY)
It looks so nice on the people I have seen rocking it. So I thought to myself….hey, I want to try it and be bold.
So what I did was I looked around in the drugstores,to see if I could find a orange lipstick that stood out to me. And I didn’t want to spend $15 on a lipstick I was not sure if the colour would suit me.
So Wet N Wild caught my eye- the usually have really lovely colours. And I already own a few of their lipsticks, so I knew what to expect with the formula. But I was a little on the fence with the colour.
Wet N Wild lipsticks retail for $1.99, which is great ’cause I love their formulas. I think they are some of the best lipsticks at the drugstore.
The colour I got was – Purty Persimmom 🙂
I tested out the colour on my lips and to be honest I was….’Im not so sure, but I actually kinda was feeling it’ 🙂
I think this colour would look really nice if I had a tan. It looks awesome with my skin tone right now as well.
I think the orange tend will work with a lot of skin tones. So hopefully we all get to try and see if it does.
♦ The trick to making orange flattering for everyday life, for us non-run runway girls is to …Look for orange that’s more red and less yellow
♦Leave the more neon, more yellow oranges for the runway huney
♥ You can find Wet N Wild products at Walgreens and some grocery stores.
