Hi lovelies ♥
I know its been a couple of days since I last posted. My last was suppose to be on Tuesday, but it was my Birthday and that should explain it all hahahahha. I had a wonderful Birthday with my husband and son.
But as you can see my the title of this post you can see I am at it again hahahhaha. Yes, guys its an addiction and as they say the first sign of recovery is, admitting you have a problem…right? 🙂
I finally picked up the Real Techniques -Core Collection brush set- told you guys I was going to pick it up.
And plus I had a $3.50 off coupon from Ulta (well my hubby got it for me, but he asked me what I would like and I said those brushes)
I also really wanted the Miracle complexion sponge, but the stand was completely empty. I was a little disappointed, but I am sure they will be restocking soon.
The Core Collection retails for $17.99 but I had a $3.50 coupon, so I ended up paying $ 15.69 including taxes.
There are 4 brushes in the set as well as the panoramic case
And they consist of the following :
This brush can be used to conceal problem areas or use it to apply lipstick. Which I probably wont do. I will probably use it more for concealer or applying highlight in the corners of my eyes.
Pointed Foundation Brush:
I am not sure what I will use this brush for just yet. As I do have the essential foundation brush from the Travel Essential kit. This one is a little smaller though.
I am so happy that I have this brush, as I do not have a contour brush. I have used a blush brush and then my contour just comes out way to harsh and streaky. And that is never a nice look!! hahaha
This brush is said to be ideal for full coverage application of powder or mineral foundation. Which I doubt I will use this brush to apply those types of foundations with. So as of right now I am not sure what I will use it for just yet.
You are able to purchase these brushes here if you are in the US.
And else where you can order it from here
I will post on some other goodies I received on my Birthday once it arrives. And yes, there is story.
